ERS Rewind Community Run

The ERS Rewind Community Run is a free, untimed community trail run created to thank local trail runners, volunteers, and supporters of the Endurance Race Series. The event is scheduled for August 26, 2026 at the San Andreas Staging Lot in Del Mar, California.

The course is an out-and-back on groomed trail measuring roughly 3 miles with about 50 feet of elevation gain. The event is limited to 250 participants and is presented as a community gathering rather than a competitive race.

At the finish, each participant receives a throwback shirt and a medal from a past ERS race. Swag is distributed grab-bag style: runners choose a shirt size and receive a surprise item. The event notes that San Diego and Colorado race gear may be included among the items.

Registration opens August 1st and entries are limited. Packet pickup is not offered in advance; race materials are available on the evening of the event approximately one hour before the run. The route offers scenic views of the San Dieguito Lagoon and is described as suitable for trail running on groomed surfaces.

The format emphasizes community connection and a low-key, untimed experience focused on appreciation for the trail running community and ERS history. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
