About the race
The ERS Rewind Community Run is a free, untimed trail event held to thank local runners, volunteers, and trail supporters. The run is scheduled for August 26, 2026, at the San Andreas Staging Lot, 15551 San Andres Dr, Del Mar, CA. Registration opens August 3.
The course is a 3 mile out and back on groomed trail with about 50 feet of elevation gain. The route passes views of the San Dieguito Lagoon. Participation is limited to 200 people.
There is no separate packet pickup before the event; race packets are available on the evening of the run. Parking is available on San Andreas Road directly outside the staging lot, with additional parking in the shopping center across the street.
Every participant receives a throwback shirt and a medal from a past ERS race. Swag is distributed grab-bag style: runners select a shirt size and receive a surprise item, and included gear reflects ERS events from San Diego and Colorado.
