Del Dios Trail Race : Lake Hodges, Escondido
Del Dios Trail Race is the 13th annual event held at Lake Hodges in Escondido, California, on January 24, 2027. The event is a Championship Qualifier and offers multiple trail race options around the lake.
All courses follow dirt service roads or single track trails. Elevation gain varies by distance, with courses featuring approximately 100' to 1000' of climb depending on the distance chosen.
Distances included in the event:
- 50K
- Half marathon (13.0 mi)
- 10K (6.1 mi)
- 5K (3.1 mi)
- Hercules DemiGod Challenge - finish the Half, 10K and 5K within 5 hours; must start with the half and finish with the 5K to earn the Demigod medal.
Packet pickup is scheduled on January 22 at Fleet Feet San Diego, 5980 Village Way, San Diego, CA 92130, and on January 23 at the Columbia store, 3209 Lionshead Ave, Carlsbad, CA 92010. Pickup windows are listed for those dates.
Race day parking for runners, spectators, and staff is in the Lake Hodges Boat Ramp parking lot. All cars entering the gated area must display proof of a parking pass on a phone or in the vehicle.
