Rensselaerville Ramble Trail Run & Walk
The Rensselaerville Ramble Trail Run and Walk is a community fundraising event held on September 19, 2026, co-hosted by the Huyck Preserve and the Rensselaerville Library. The event starts and finishes at the Eldridge Research Center, 284 Pond Hill Road, Rensselaerville, NY 12147, and shares net proceeds between the two organizations.
Participants follow marked trails through the Huyck Preserve, passing a large lake, a historic race track, and waterfalls along grassy and single-track woodland paths. Course options include multiple distances to accommodate different preferences.
Awards are given for top finishers in each gender category and for top finishers in each gender age group. Packet pick-up is available the day before and on the event date. Registration is accepted by mail, online, or on race day. Entry fees follow a tiered schedule, ranging from $25 (early) to $50 (late), and registrants who sign up by September 1 are guaranteed a race t-shirt in their preferred size.
