About the race
The Raid the Hammer Adventure Run is a team point-to-point adventure race held in Waterdown, Ontario on October 25, 2026. The event combines road running, trail running, navigation, and trekking, and the course terrain includes mud, rock and steep climbs.
Teams follow one of two course options:
- RAID: 20–25 km, intermediate trail running, trekking and intermediate to advanced navigation.
- HALF-RAID: 10–15 km, similar elements at about half the distance and recommended beginner to intermediate navigation.
Categories are Open, Coed, Female, Masters and Junior. Masters teams have an average age over 45. Juniors are teams with members 16 and under, with one member allowed to be over 16. Teams may consist of two or three members.
Entry fees vary by registration period. Fee examples listed for teams of two are Early $150, Regular $180 and Late $200; teams of three are Early $225, Regular $270 and Late $300. Junior team fees are listed separately. The listed fee applies to the entire team, not per person. Registration deadlines include an early deadline on August 26 and later deadlines in October.
Entry includes a race map copy for each participant, timing chip rental, post-race hot food, event gear and a 2026 day membership for race insurance. Entry fees do not include online transaction charges or HST. Participants must review the event rules and carry the required gear. No pets are allowed on course or at registration.
