Raid the Hammer Adventure Run
Raid the Hammer is an adventure running event in Waterdown, ON on October 25, 2026. The event combines road running, trail running, navigation, and trekking in a point-to-point format. The course terrain includes mud, rock, and steep climbs.
Teams choose between two course options:
- Raid: 20 to 25 km, intermediate to advanced navigation.
- Half-Raid: about 10 to 15 km, beginner to intermediate navigation.
Teams race in crews of two or three. Categories for the Raid include Open, Coed, Female, and Masters. Half-Raid categories include Open, Coed, Female, Masters, and Junior. Masters teams have an average age over 45. Juniors are 16 and under, with one member allowed to be over 16.
Entry is by team; listed fees apply to the entire team, not per person. Fee tiers are Early, Regular, and Late with respective deadlines (Early by Aug 26; Regular by Oct 7; Late by Oct 21). Registration closes at midnight on October 21. Sample team fees include teams of 2: Early $150, Regular $180, Late $200; teams of 3: Early $225, Regular $270, Late $300; junior team fees are listed separately.
Entry fee includes a race map for each participant, timing chip rental, post-race hot food, event gear (for example T-shirt, socks, headband), and a 2026 day membership for race insurance. Fees exclude online transaction charges and HST. No pets are allowed on course or at registration. Participants must review the event rules and carry the required gear during the race.
