Ragnar Trail Texas Hill Country Individual
The event takes place October 16-17, 2026 at Flat Rock Ranch in Comfort, Texas. Race formats include a single loop option and timed ultras that allow runners to complete as many loops as they can within their time window.
Distances and entry details:
- Single Loop : 4.9 miles, one loop, entry $40.
- 6 Hour Ultra : course 15.1 miles total, unlimited loops, entry $175.
- 24 Hour Ultra : course 15.1 miles total, unlimited loops, entry $250.
The Yellow Loop is mostly smooth singletrack with switchbacks, a notable climb near mile 2.5 followed by a water station and a downhill return. The loop lists 617 feet of elevation gain. The full relay course measures 15.1 miles with about 1,743 feet of total elevation gain; runners log elevation according to the number of loops completed.
Ragnar Village at the ranch includes camping, bonfires, music, yoga, food trucks, a few venue showers, and provisions for s'mores. The venue is a working cattle ranch and wildlife or livestock may be present on or near the trails. Trail features include prickly pear cacti and rolling hills; the trails are built for mountain biking and are regularly maintained.
