Race You To The Summit
Race You To The Summit is a fell race organised by CraggRunner, scheduled for 31 October 2026 (Halloween) at the Summit Inn, Littleborough OL15 9QX. The senior course covers 4.3 miles with over 800 ft of ascent. The route heads from the Summit Inn up to the White House pub near Blackstone Edge, requires runners to touch the pub wall, then returns to the Summit Inn.
The event has a long history and is now in its 59th year. It is run under Fell Runners Association rules. There are junior races alongside the senior race, with categories for Under 9, Under 11, Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17; Under 17s race with the seniors. Entry fees are stated as adults £8 for pre-entry and £10 on the day, while Under 17s are free. Halloween costumes are encouraged and prizes are awarded for the best costume.
The organiser notes volunteer opportunities; volunteers receive race credit for use at future races.
