Race the Ghost
Race the Ghost is organized at the Dryden Creamery on West Main Street in Dryden, NY and follows the Dryden Rail Trail. From the creamery, participants run 1.5 miles out on the rail trail, turn around at the Spooky Cone, then return to the creamery where a finisher's treat is provided.
All runners are timed. Packet pick up is available before the event and awards are presented after the run. Shirts are available for purchase.
The event includes multiple registration options, including a youth category for 12 and under with children three and under listed as free (organizers request that these children still be registered to receive a bib), and a discounted family registration for groups of four or more that covers multiple family members. Adult registration is available with different pricing periods for pre-registration and later registration.
Awards are given in running and costume categories. Running awards recognize top finishers in Male, Female, and Non Binary categories. Costume awards include Spookiest Costume, Best Solo Costume, Best Couples Costume, Best Group Costume for three or more people, and Most Creative Costume.
