Race for Life Exeter at Westpoint

The event is held on the Westpoint showground in Clyst St. Mary, Exeter (EX5 1DJ). Routes use a mix of road, tarmac pathways and grass, with the start and finish on a tarmac path within the showground. The 10k course is run as two laps of a 5k route that follows paths and fields around the showground.

Available distances:

  • 10k (two 5k laps, mixed surfaces)
  • 3k (short route on showground paths and fields)

Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets, bag drop and showers. Blue Badge parking is available approximately 160 m from the event site on hardstanding; general event parking and drop off are available within Westpoint. There are no electric vehicle charging points and no bike racks on site. The venue notes that the start and finish areas are on grass that is slightly sloped and uneven; in wet weather the ground and grass sections may become soft or muddy and could affect underfoot conditions.

The event is wheelchair accessible with assistance. A minimum fundraising target of £50 applies. Ticket prices shown include Earlybird 16 and over at £8.74 and Earlybird children at £5.50. The organiser is Cancer Research UK. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
