Brentwood 10k 2027 Race for Life
This Race for Life event takes place on Saturday 22 May 2027 at Weald Country Park, South Weald, Brentwood. The organiser is Cancer Research UK. Entry prices for earlybird places are shown between £5.50 and £8.74 and the minimum fundraising target is £50.
The start and finish are on grass on Belvedere Field, opposite the Visitors Centre car park. The course runs mostly on grass and woodland trails with inclines and declines; the 10k is a double lap of the 5k route. The event site is on slightly sloped, firm grass that can become soft and muddy in wet weather. The route may be affected by weather and is described as involving steep inclines.
Timing is chip based and participants receive a Race for Life medal at the finish. Participants are provided with a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, and training resources.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets, parking and a bag drop. Dogs are allowed. The event is not wheelchair accessible and pushchairs are not suitable. Blue Badge parking is available in the Visitors Centre car park. There are no electric vehicle charging points on site; nearby charging stations are about 1.3 and 1.5 miles away.
