Rabbit Run Wales - Run 4 Wales (R4W)
Rabbit Run Wales is a series of trail races held on the private grounds of the Merthyr Mawr Estate on the South Wales coast. The event is set within the Merthyr Mawr Warren National Nature Reserve and uses trails that run through dunes and coastal terrain.
The 12K course follows trails with hills and valleys, includes a river crossing, and finishes with a run down the Big Dipper, the highest sand dune in Wales. The route uses natural paths and varied underfoot surfaces typical of dune and reserve landscapes.
The half marathon and marathon routes include the full 12K circuit and extend onto the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, offering coastal scenery with dramatic landscapes, plunging cliffs and secluded coves with wide coastal views.
