About the race
McGraw Memorial Park hosts the Quick Draw at McGraw trail events organized by CRATES Colorado, with proceeds benefiting the park’s general care fund and ongoing projects. The course sits directly south of the Keystone Bridge inside McGraw Memorial Park and features steep, tight trails that overlook the park, the South Platte River and the town of Bailey. The trail includes repeated elevation gain and loss along short, technical sections.
Multiple event options are offered on the same day:

- 12.6 Miles
The 12.6 mile event uses a repeated loop format: participants complete the same 2.1 mile trail loop six times, with the allowed time for each lap reduced by five minutes each successive lap. Prizes are awarded to racers who finish each loop, and the overall Last SQUATCH Standing division awards winners based on performance in the final loop, with prizes for the fastest male and fastest female finishers.
A community Fall-Fest takes place in Bailey the same day, presented by the Park County Historical Society, featuring music, shopping and games.
