About the race
Queens Corner Community Fun Run is a community fun run and walk held at the Queens Corner shopping centre parking lot in Queenswood, Pretoria on 24 September 2026. The event offers a single distance of 5 km on a mostly off-road route that is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams. The run/walk is not pet friendly and no animals are allowed.
Entry is by pre-entry only through the organiser's online booking portal; there will be no entries accepted on the event day. The entry fee is R30 per person and the event has a cap of 400 entries. Entries close on 14 September 2026 or earlier if the entry cap is reached. Each online entry receives a goodie bag.
Participants must ensure they are medically fit to take part. The 5 km course has a time limit of 60 minutes with cut-offs at 1 km and 2 km. No mechanically operated devices, roller skates, bicycles, seconding or wheelchairs may be used on the route. Listening devices such as iPods are not allowed and entry cards must be visible on the front of clothing. Water will be supplied at the finish only; there will be no water on the route.
