Queen Elizabeth Country Park Trail Run (QECP)
The event is a trail run based at Queen Elizabeth Country Park near Petersfield on the South Downs. The route uses the park's hard-packed off-road trail network and connects with nearby paths including ancient woodland at Head Down, the South Downs Way, the local Milky Way trail, and War Down with tree-lined gravel tracks.
There are three route lengths to choose from:
- 21.6k Half Marathon
- 15.2k Medium route
- 7.9k Short route
Facilities and services listed for the event include chip timing, on-course refreshments, first aid cover, course marshals, clear signage using pink arrows and tape, and event photography. Finishers receive a metal medal, a finisher's goodie, a refreshing drink, and a personalised certificate. The event is plastic free at water stations and participants are asked to bring a reusable cup or bottle. Parking is available for a charge of £3 per car.
Canicross participants may run with one dog per runner; guidelines recommend bringing poo bags, water, treats, and an appropriate lead.
