Punk Panther Spring Headtorch Half
This is a weekday head torch trail event on 23 March 2027 around Swinsty & Fewston Reservoirs, based at Swinsty Moor Car Park (North Lane, LS21 2NP). The event is organised by Punk Panther Ultra Marathons.
Distances
- Half Marathon - two laps of Swinsty & Fewston Reservoirs; climb 800 ft.
- 10 km - one lap of Swinsty & Fewston Reservoirs; climb 400 ft.
- 5 km - one lap of Swinsty Reservoir; climb 200 ft.
The event has a maximum of 150 entrants and a minimum age of 16. The published entry fee is £15. Entries open 1 July 2026 and close 22 March 2027.
Registration takes place at the Punk Panther gazebo by the toilet block at the entrance to the car park; a short race brief will be given after registration. Toilets are available in the car park. The course will not be taped.
Competitors are required to carry a head torch and a mobile phone with the race director's number stored and kept on so organisers can make contact if necessary. Water will be available at the Punk Panther gazebo after the first lap and at the finish. The finish line is located at the edge of the woods before the road back to the car park. Every finisher receives a medal.
Parking is pay and display at the car park, £3 for six hours, card only. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
