Punk Panther Autumn Headtorch Half
The Punk Panther Autumn Headtorch Half is an evening trail event on Tuesday 6 October 2026 at Swinsty Moor Car Park, North Lane (LS21 2NP). The event is organized by Punk Panther Ultra Marathons and uses trails around Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs.
Distances offered:
- Half Marathon: Two laps of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs.
- 10 km: One lap of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs.
- 5 km: One lap of Swinsty Reservoir.
Climb for the courses is listed as approximately 800 ft for the half, 400 ft for the 10 km and 200 ft for the 5 km. Maximum entrants are 150. The car park is pay and display; the stated charge is £3 for six hours and payment is card only. Toilets are located in the car park.
Registration takes place at the Punk Panther gazebo by the toilet block at the car park entrance. The course will not be taped. Water is available at the gazebo after the first lap and again at the finish. The finish line is at the edge of the woods before the road back to the car park. Every finisher receives a medal.
A short race brief is given at registration. Final competitor instructions are emailed to entrants the week before the event. Results and course records are published online after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
