Pumpkin Run and Free Kid Mile Run - Warsaw
The event takes place on November 14, 2026 at 1011 E. Arthur Street, Warsaw, IN. It includes multiple race options and family activities focused on pumpkins and fall themes.
Distances
- 5 km road course around Pike Lake and Beyer Farm trail
- 1 mile kids Pumpkin Mile
- 5 km Tough Pumpkin option requiring a carried pumpkin
All bibs, shirts, and pumpkins are picked up on race day. Day registration and packet pick-up are available on the day of the event; the morning registration window extends later for 5K participants. Parking is available near the campground area and the Pike Lake beach area.
The 5K course is a road route in Warsaw with views of Pike Lake and a section through the Beyer Farm trail. After finishing, participants may receive a cup of apple cider and may choose a pumpkin. Pumpkin painting and carving are available on site.
Event details and benefits noted by the organizer:
- Pumpkin Mile is a free run/walk for kids; all finishers receive a medal and a pumpkin. The top five boys and top five girls overall receive a special gift.
- Pumpkin Run 5K registration includes entry, a 2026 lightweight hoodie, a 2026 finisher medal, and apple cider at the finish line. Overall male and female awards are given.
- Tough Pumpkin 5K participants are supplied a pumpkin to carry, choose their pumpkin at packet pick-up (sizes from a couple of pounds up to 15 pounds), and receive a 2026 hoodie, a special Tough Pumpkin finisher medal, and a goodie bag.
Registration opened March 6, 2026. Pre-registration is required to guarantee a medal, pumpkin, shirt, or hoodie; pre-registration for guaranteed items ends November 6, 2026 at 1 PM.
