Pink Moon - Ladies Trail Half Marathon

The Pink Moon Ladies only trail half marathon is a 13.1 mile (21 km) out and back route near Sutton Scarsdale that returns for its third year in 2027. The course rises about 657 ft (200 m) and runs through Sutton Springs Wood before climbing to the Five Pits Trail. After undulating terrain the route reaches a turning loop in Pilsley where there is a checkpoint and an aid station offering water, squash and sweets.

The event carries a 3.5 hour time limit; an optional 30 minute earlier start is offered for slower athletes or for those who do not feel confident running at dusk or in the dark. The finish includes a medal and complementary cake and hot drinks served by a campfire.

Race HQ is at Rock Lane, Sutton Scarsdale S44 5ST. Free car parking is available at Race HQ and on the nearby lane. Toilets are provided at Race HQ. The organiser provides course marking, additional marshals in high visibility, glow sticks through the wood and down Rock Lane, a tail runner or safety bike on the course, and medic cover both on the course and at Race HQ.

The race raises funds for the local Women’s Aid charity The Elm Foundation. The organiser states a commitment to SheRACES guidance and that GPX route data is available. Entry price starts from £27. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
