Pilgrim's Reckoning 2027
Pilgrim's Reckoning 2027 is an ultra-running event organised by Thunder Races on the historic Bunyan Trail in Bedfordshire. The route is a circular course of 81 miles, and competitors are given a 24-hour time limit to complete the full loop.
The route is fully waymarked using the official Bunyan Way markers and passes through a mix of rural paths, countryside, woodland and villages. Navigation follows the marked trail exactly as indicated by the waymarkers.
Support on course includes seven fully stocked aid stations positioned around the route, a drop-bag service at one designated aid station, and medical support provided along the route. Live tracking is used for all participants for safety and spectator viewing. Finishers who complete the course within the time limit receive a bespoke event medal and a finishers' T-shirt.
Entries are handled through the organiser. Individual entry is listed at £180.00 plus an £8.98 booking fee. All entries are non-refundable. Runners may defer an entry to another event organised by Thunder Races up to 28 days before race day if requested in writing; deferrals within four weeks of the event are not accepted and deferred entries cannot be further transferred or refunded.
