Phoenix: Hampshire - Christmas Party Run
Phoenix Running Hampshire is hosting the Christmas Party Run along the Itchen Way in Winchester. The event is based at Garnier Road Car Park with additional parking a short walk away at St. Catherine's Park & Ride (postcode SO23 9NP). Parking charges apply on Saturdays.
The measured, Road Permit course is an out-and-back along the Itchen Way that crosses Hockley Viaduct. The event is timed and allows participants to run one or more laps on the same loop. All finishers receive a bespoke finisher's medal and there is a selection of pick n mix medals from events during the year.
Aid station provisions include a selection of sweet and savoury items, a signature potato offering, and vegan options. The event uses flexible rock up and run start times so participants can choose when to begin on the day within the organiser's operating window.
Available lap and distance formats include:
- 2.62 mile lap out-and-back
- Five laps equals a Half Marathon
- Ten laps equals a Marathon
- Eleven or more laps qualifies as an Ultra
