Phoenix West Sussex Fox Trot
Phoenix Running West Sussex stages the Fox Trot at Buchan Country Park in Crawley on 27 September 2026. The park covers about 170 acres and has held a Green Flag Award since 2010. The event uses a measured out and back lap of 5.3 km (3.28 miles) set entirely off road on compact trail.
This is a timed, lap based event where participants may complete as many or as few laps as they like within a seven hour time limit. The minimum distance is 5 km (3.1 miles). The organiser operates flexible "rock up and run" start arrangements and can accommodate special start time requests depending on planned distance.
Available entry options include a paid entry with a physical medal and a lower cost no medal option priced at £22.00. The event provides race support including an aid station, same day results, athlete profiles, digital BIBs and digital finishers certificates. Places are strictly limited.
Public transport is encouraged with suggested local bus routes serving stops near the park from Bewbush, Broadfield and Crawley Station. The course surface is compact trail suitable for off road running. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
