PFW Running - Brockholes Bimble
The event takes place within Brockholes Nature Reserve in Preston, a 250 acre site owned by the Wildlife Trust and home to the UKs first floating visitor centre. The course follows paths around the reserve, passing several lakes, the River Ribble and woodlands. The surface is trail and the route is described as undulating.
Distances offered:
- 10k, 1 lap plus short out and back
- Half marathon, 3 laps of the course
- Marathon, 6 laps of the course
- Ultra, as many laps as desired within a 6 hour limit (last lap must start within 5 hours 30 minutes)
Facilities and services include sweet and savoury snacks, water, cordial and coke, a bespoke medal and other post-run items. The route will be fully marked and medical cover is provided. The event is held under UKA rules and a Trail Running Association race permit number is to be announced.
Entries are limited to 100 participants and the entry period closes on 06/05/2027. All participants must be over 18; those aged 18 to 19 may race up to the marathon distance, while participants over 20 may choose any distance. Refunds are not permitted; transfers or deferrals are allowed up to one week before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
