PFW Running - Brockholes Bimble
The event takes place at Brockholes Nature Reserve in Preston. The reserve covers 250 acres, is owned by the Wildlife Trust, and includes lakes, the River Ribble, woodlands and the UKs first floating visitor centre. The running course follows paths around the reserve and passes several lakes, the river and wooded sections.
Distances are lap based and organised as follows:
- 10k one lap plus a short out and back
- Half marathon three laps of the course
- Marathon six laps of the course
- Ultra as many laps as the entrant wishes within a six hour limit
Additional event details: the field is limited to 100 entrants and entries close on 06/05/2027. All participants must be at least 18 years old; participants aged 18 to 19 may enter up to marathon distance, while those aged 20 and over may enter any distance. On the day there will be sweet and savoury snacks, water, cordial and cola, a bespoke medal and post run goodies. The route will be fully marked and medical cover will be provided. The event is held under UKA rules and the Trail Running Association race permit number will be confirmed.
