About the race
Stay Puft is a Perth Trail Series event held on Ghost House Trail inside Yanchep National Park with the start/finish area located at Chocolate Drops Tearooms. The course passes historic ghost houses and is marked on the day with blue flagging tape and PTS arrows; participants must follow on-course flagging if the map differs from the planned route. All participants must present a hydration system holding a minimum of 500 ml at check-in to receive a race bib; the bib must be worn on the front and visible at all times. A race belt and number are provided at registration and will be removed by crew after the run.
Hiking poles are not permitted at Summer Series events. Pets are not allowed anywhere in the park and vehicles with animals may be denied entry. Parking is available in marked bays near the Tearooms; participants should pay the park entry fee unless they hold a park pass. The event offers a merchandise tent, collapsible cups for purchase, and on-course water top-ups using personal hydration systems to avoid single-use cups.
Race results are published the Sunday after the event and an event recap with photos and results is emailed midweek. Trail etiquette is emphasised: avoid littering and short-cutting (both may lead to disqualification), limit headphone use for safety, and follow passing etiquette on single track.
