Perpetua Coast
Perpetua Coast is a trail race weekend in Yachats, Oregon within the Cape Perpetua National Scenic Area on October 3 and 4, 2026. The event stages from The Adobe Resort and uses coastal and forest trails around the Cape Perpetua headland and the village of Yachats.
Race distances include:
- 50K
- 20 mile
- Half marathon
- 10K
Courses pass through beach town streets, rocky shoreline bluffs, sandy beaches, headland vistas and moss-draped old growth rainforest. The 50K is the rescheduled 2026 USATF 50K Trail National Championship race. Shuttle buses are provided for some distances and there is optional early bib pickup before race weekend plus race morning check in at the Cape Perpetua Conference Room.
Registration fees vary by date and distance; examples of fee ranges are:
- 50K $135 to $160
- 20 mile $115 to $135
- Half marathon $100 to $120
- 10K $70 to $80
Registration fees do not include taxes, processing fees or race swag. Fees cover a fully marked course, staging venue, parking, chip timing, live results, full service aid stations, medical support and communications, post race food and beverages, custom finisher awards and professional photography.
The event donates to local high school teams. Friendly leashed dogs are allowed in the event staging area. The race operates under permits from Siuslaw National Forest, Oregon State Parks, Oregon Department of Transportation and private landowners. The event acknowledges the traditional lands of the Alsea peoples, who have been part of this landscape for at least 6,000 years. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
