Paws in the Park 5K Run/Walk - Boone, IA
Paws in the Park is a community 5K run/walk held for the Foundation for the BAHS at the Iowa Arboretum & Gardens, 1875 Peach Ave, Madrid, Iowa 50156. The course both starts and finishes at the Iowa Arboretum. Packet pickup and T-shirt distribution take place at the Cafferty Building on the Arboretum grounds. Registered participants are able to begin the course on their own and keep their own time.

The event includes a dog-friendly option. Dogs receive bandanas and a maximum of two dogs per person is allowed. Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, be under control at all times, and no leashes longer than six feet are permitted. Organizers reserve the right to refuse entry to aggressive dogs.
T-shirt availability is provided to pre-registered participants, though shirts are not guaranteed after 10/04/26. There is also a "Lazy Dog" option listed among registration choices. After the event, refreshments and snacks will be available for both humans and canines.
