Pāuanui Trail Epic 2027 : event overview
Pāuanui Trail Epic 2027 is a coastal trail running event held in Pāuanui, New Zealand, with courses starting and finishing on the beachfront outside the Pāuanui Surf Life Saving Club. The event offers four distance options and permits entry as either a runner or a walker for each distance.

- 22 km
- 14 km
- 5 km
The 34 km and 22 km events have a minimum age requirement of 14 years on race day. Children under 14 may enter the 14 km and 5 km events. Participants may compete individually or as part of a team; teams require at least four members and a team score is calculated from the first four finishers.
All race entries are professionally timed using a shoe-mounted timing chip and bibs must be worn visibly on the front of the torso. Hydration stations with water and Tailwind Endurance mix, plus toilets, are provided at locations along the courses. Finishers receive a medal and towel and a downloadable certificate is available. Live tracking is offered for supporters. Race packs can be collected at the pre-event registration venue or at race headquarters on event day.
