Parklands TRAIL Running Festival
The Parklands TRAIL Running Festival takes place at Lizard Log in Abbotsbury within Western Sydney Parklands. The event offers four chip-timed race distances on an off-road course that runs through bushland trails, soft grass, and undulating terrain.

Each distance has an associated elevation gain (32 km 644 m; Half Marathon 367 m; 11 km 205 m; 6 km 136 m) and a strict midday cutoff time for all races. All finishers receive a themed medal, a finisher’s certificate, post-race snacks, sponsor giveaways, and a premium event tee (RRP $70). Race bibs are printed three weeks before the event and posted two weeks out for entrants who opt for postage; name-on-bib requests must meet the three-week registration cutoff.
The venue is primarily accessible by private car, with large east and west carparks at Lizard Log and a grass overflow area that may require 4WD depending on weather. Event photography will be taken on course and published after the race. Participants should be aware there will be other pedestrians, cyclists, and dogs on the paths and are advised to stay alert and avoid using earphones.
