Parklands TRAIL Running Festival
The Parklands TRAIL Running Festival takes place at Lizard Log, Abbotsbury, within Western Sydney Parklands. The event offers multiple off-road race distances on bushland trails and soft grass over undulating terrain.
All event distances are chip timed by Multisport Australia. Finishers receive a themed medal, a finisher’s certificate, post-race snacks, sponsor giveaways, and a free premium event tee. Photographers will be on course and images will be posted after the race. Races have a strict midday cutoff time; participants who need more time are asked to inform the organiser.
Parking is available on the east and west sides of Lizard Log with a grass overflow car park that may require 4WD depending on weather. Public transport is not available early on Sunday mornings. Race bibs are printed three weeks before the event and posted two weeks before race day if requested; to have a name on a bib, register at least three weeks before the event.
Volunteer roles include course marshalling and registration. Volunteers are offered free entry to a future race up to a set value, morning coffee, and a post-event breakfast.
