Paris Texas Marathon
The Paris Texas Marathon is held on the NETT Trail in northeast Texas, with start and finish at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Texas / Love Civic Center. The course is an out-and-back that runs east of Paris and combines sections of asphalt, soft ground, gravel trail and some bridge crossings. The organizer describes the route as flat and fast with a trail vibe.

Races are offered in morning and evening waves. Evening runners must carry a headlamp. This is a cupless event; all participants must carry a hydration device. A reusable collapsible cup is sold for five dollars at packet pickup.
Aid stations are staffed by volunteers and provide water, Gatorade, bananas, oranges, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, chips, cookies, soda and electrolyte products. Aid station locations include Mile 4, Mile 8.5, Mile 13.1 and the Start/Finish; portable toilets are placed at the Start/Finish and at Blossom, and permanent toilets exist along the NETT.
Drop bags may be left at packet pickup for delivery to the Blossom aid station and will be returned to Start/Finish when that aid station closes. Camping for cars, tents and limited RVs is available at the Love Civic Center. Two local hotels offer a negotiated discount for participants.
Awards include top overall and masters prizes, finisher medals for most distances and a buckle for 100K finishers. Participants who run both a day and night race receive a special pint glass. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
