Paiute Meadows Trail Run
The 31st Annual Paiute Meadows Trail Run takes place in Susanville, California on May 8, 2027, organized by Lassen Land and Trails Trust. The event uses the trail network around Meadowview Drive and Cherry Terrace and is held almost exclusively on single-track trails.
The traditional 4.5 mile course runs through towering pines and meadows and includes climbs and water crossings. Longer options follow additional loops that pass through a variety of terrain and offer scenic views across the landscape.
Distances and formats include:
- 50K
- 50K 2 Person Relay
- 30K
- Half Marathon (13.6 miles)
- 4.5 Mile
- 1‑Mile Kids' trail race (free for ages 12 and under)
For relay teams, Leg 1 follows the 30K route and measures 18.6 miles. Leg 2 resumes at the start/finish area and follows the second loop of the 50K course, approximately 13.1 miles.
Registration opens November 25, 2026 and closes February 1, 2027. Published entry fees are $90 for the 50K, $125 for the 50K 2 Person Relay, $75 for the 30K, $65 for the half marathon, and $45 for the 4.5 mile event.
