OUTLAST NASHVILLE : event overview
OUTLAST Nashville is a trail endurance event held in Hermitage, Tennessee (2910 Hobson Pike). The event offers two timed challenges based on completing repeated 5K laps on a loop course: a six-lap format and a twelve-lap format. Each lap must be completed within the hour to remain in the event; runners who finish a lap early rest until the next round, and runners who miss a lap are removed from the challenge.
The course is trail based with natural terrain, elevation, and variable surface conditions; occasional pavement and gravel may appear. Aid is available at the basecamp or loop start with water, basic hydration, and snacks, but the event is cupless so participants should bring their own bottle or hydration system. Tent or personal aid station setups are permitted at the site.
Awards and recognition are tiered by laps completed: patches for four and five laps, premium OUTLAST medals for completing six or twelve laps, and a premium OUTLAST tee for all participants. Finishers who complete all six laps receive a combined time for local ranking and entry on a national leaderboard. The fastest competitor across all OUTLAST six-hour events will be named National Champion and awarded $1,000. Top city champions earn advancement to the Outlast Championship in DFW on December 4, 2027, where cash prizes are awarded for first through third places.
