OSS/CIA 50 Mile Night Run : Triangle, VA

The OSS/CIA 50 Mile Night Run is a trail event organized by Athletic Equation Trail Series in Prince William Forest Park, Triangle, VA. The main course is a 25+ mile loop run twice to create the 50+ mile distance. The route is primarily single track with sections of fire road and several bridge and National Park Service road crossings.

Distances:

  • 50 miles
  • 25 miles

The event includes two fully stocked main aid stations located at the Telegraph Road Pavilion (start/finish) and Oak Ridge Camp Ground (halfway point for each loop). Two additional mini-aid stations offer a limited selection of food, water, and Tailwind at the South Valley Trail intersection with Scenic Drive and at the Burma Road intersection with Scenic Drive.

Crew and pacer rules are restricted by the Park. Crews may only be at the Telegraph Road Pavilion start/finish area and should remain in the Park after settling in for the event. Pacers are permitted beginning at the second loop from Telegraph Road Pavilion. The Park requests that crews not move around the park after settling in, as compliance affects the event permit.

Prince William Forest Park was established in 1936, contains about 37 miles of trails across 15,000+ acres, and is the largest protected natural area in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region. Registration closes on June 6. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
