Oslos Bratteste
Oslos Bratteste is an uphill running event with a single course that starts at the bottom of Wyllerløypa and finishes at Tryvannstårnet. The route is 2.7 km long and gains 407 meters in elevation.
The event offers two entry types: a competition class with timekeeping and ranking, and a Flex class that receives a recorded time but is not ranked on the result list. The entry fee is 700 NOK plus an administration fee.
All finishers receive a medal. The standard participant package includes the event medal, a Rab hat or headband, a Flyt drinking cup, and a start number. There are prize draws and class prizes supplied by partners including La Sportiva, Braasport, Rab, and Bridgedale. Course records are listed as 17:16 for women (2017) and 14:09 for men (2023).
Practical arrangements include baggage handling from start to finish using bag tags, published timing and results online after the race, and recommended use of public transport to reach the start. Organizers note that poles are allowed only for those registered in the Flex category and that the competition class is subject to a minimum age of 12 years.
