One Fyne Night
One Fyne Night takes place on 14th August 2027 at Fyne Court Estate in the Quantock Hills National Landscape, Broomfield near Bridgwater, Somerset TA5 2EQ. The event is a summer evening trail running event with a Racecheck gold award history.
Distances available:
- 5 km
- 10 km completed as two laps of the 5 km course
The course runs on parkland and woodland trails and tracks. It is described as undulating and passes the church, goes through Broomfield Common, returns via the walled gardens and past the pond, and finishes in the main courtyard. The route has been adjusted in places for runner safety due to fallen trees.
Entry fees start from £21.00 plus a booking fee. A bespoke wooden finisher medal is offered as an optional extra for an additional fee and must be ordered in advance; medal sales close in the days before the event to allow local production. The event is cupless so entrants must bring their own drinking vessel; water will be available at the event hub and the finish area and reusable collapsible cups can be purchased at registration.
Facilities include registration on the evening, toilets at the event hub, a cafe open during the event, and parking in the main National Trust car parks or overflow field with ticket machine payment. Trained first aiders will be on site and around the route.
Age rules apply: runners aged 8 to 16 must run with a supervising adult in sight, 16 to 17 year olds can run solo with parental consent, and children under 8 are not permitted. Dogs may not compete but are allowed as spectators if kept under close control. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
