Ocean State Ultra
Ocean State Ultra is a multi-event ultramarathon held in West Greenwich, Rhode Island on August 29–30, 2026. The event uses a revised full loop course of ten miles that runners repeat for their selected entry. The loop contains about 1.5 miles of desert, 1 mile of pavement, and 7.5 miles of trails through the Big River Management Area, with roughly 430 feet of elevation gain per loop. The trail is described as relatively flat and minimally technical, with sections of wide trail and single-track rolling hills.

There are two staffed aid stations and two unmanned hydration stations. The primary staffed aid station is at the start/finish at the Rhode Island desert and a second stocked aid station is near the five-mile point at Hell's Half Acre. Hydration stations are located at the Burnt Sawmill Trailhead and at the New London Turnpike trail parking. All aid stations are nut-free.
Start and finish are at West Greenwich Sand Dunes, 145-151 Division Rd. Parking is offsite at a Park & Ride on Hopkins Hill Road and at 92 New London Turnpike, with a shuttle to the race location; drop-off at the trail entrance is permitted but parking there is not. No tents are allowed on course; personal tables may be set in the designated area near the start line. All race categories are chip-timed and results are posted on the timing platforms.
