Obstacle Wonderland Hallo-Weird 4 "Relish the Challenge"
This event takes place on October 11, 2026 at Obstacle Wonderland, 314 New Unionville Road, Wallkill, NY 12589. It is a Halloween themed obstacle course event with a pickle motif and family friendly activities.
- 5K adult obstacle course
- 1K kids obstacle course for ages 4-12
The course features a variety of obstacles including mud, climbing elements, themed features such as pickles and dragons, and possible water features. Costumes are encouraged and themed medals are part of the event. A custom Halloween finisher medal is guaranteed for the first 100 adult registrants. Shirts are available for purchase. The kids course includes free race photos and a unique finisher medal.
A separate fundraiser called Amy’s Ascent is part of the day. For a $5 registration/donation participants receive a pumpkin to carry and a commemorative Amy’s Ascent medal. Obstacle Wonderland has already donated $500 toward Amy’s Kilimanjaro effort. The event also runs Donate a Dragon 2, a collection of 3D printed dragons to donate to children, and proceeds from Maker Studio items and extras support Obstacle Wonderland programs and community projects.
This is a fully outdoor event. Participants are asked to dress for the weather; the organizer will make announcements if conditions are unsafe. Obstacles are subject to change. Portable restrooms are located at the back of the field near tier‑one parking. Parking follows posted event signage with attendants; higher clearance vehicles park the upper field and other vehicles park below. Please back into parking spots and avoid blocking driveways.
