Obstacle Wonderland Hallo-Weird 4 "Relish the Challenge"
Hallo-Weird 4 is a pickle-themed Halloween obstacle event at Obstacle Wonderland in Wallkill, NY on October 11, 2026. The event uses a mix of Obstacle Wonderland staples and Halloween-specific challenges across an outdoor course.
Distances:
- 5K adult obstacle course
- 1K kids obstacle course for ages 4 to 12
The course includes walls, rigs, balance obstacles, crawls, ropes, carries, climbing elements, and other technical obstacles. The course finishes with a zip line rather than a traditional timing mat. Obstacles are integral to the route rather than occasional additions.
Registration and fees are provided for each event: the adult obstacle entry fee is $42 and the kids entry fee is $7. Registration opens and closes on specified dates for each event. A custom Halloween finisher medal is guaranteed for the first 100 signups in the adult event. Event extras and items from Wonderland Maker Studio support Obstacle Wonderland programs and community projects.
A companion activity, Amy’s Ascent, is a donation-based pumpkin carry during Hallo-Weird that requests a $5 donation; the donation includes a pumpkin for the carry and a commemorative medal, and proceeds support a climbing fundraiser. Parking follows onsite directions with separate areas for high-clearance vehicles, and portable restrooms are located at the back of the field. The event is fully outdoors and organizers will announce any safety-related changes for severe weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
