Oakworth Haul 2027
Oakworth Haul is a low-key fell race held as part of the local Oakworth gala on Victoria Road. The event takes place on mostly off road terrain and runs from the gala field in Oakworth. There are stalls and entertainment at the gala and separate fun races for children organised by the gala committee.
The main race covers 9 km (about 5.6 miles) with approximately 250 m of climb. The course features a number of short, testing climbs and some tricky descents, with faster sections between the climbs. The route is well marked and marshaled. Because it is a short summer race, no mandatory kit is required.
Entries are available in advance and are also available on the day with no number limit. Entry fee is £5.00. Minimum age on the day is 18. The event records listed for the course are 00:34:51 for men (2005) and 00:40:05 for women (2007).
