Oakville Remembrance Trail Run

The Oakville Remembrance Trail Run is the second annual trail event held in Lions Valley that brings runners and walkers together for Remembrance Day. The event is scheduled for Saturday November 7, 2026, and proceeds support Wounded Warriors Canada.

Two course options are offered:

  • 5 km Trail A scenic route with rolling terrain.
  • 11 km Trail A longer route through the valley with more elevation.

Start and finish are listed at Upper Middle Park in Oakville. Early run kit pickup will be available at Neyagawa Park with date and time to be confirmed. The event operates rain or shine, so participants should plan for cool or wet conditions. There will be an unsupervised bag drop on site and the safety of belongings cannot be guaranteed. Parking details and official start times are to be confirmed. Registration is set to open in Spring 2026. Volunteer sign-up information will be announced when available.

The presentation focuses on remembrance and community support, and the event directs its proceeds to support programs run by Wounded Warriors Canada. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
