NSRF Queens Turkey Trot 5K - Alley Pond Park
The Never Stop Running Foundation Queens Turkey Trot 5K is a community run/walk held at the Alley Pond Picnic Area in Oakland Gardens, NY on November 26, 2026. The on-site 5K course consists of three loops on park trails; runners are asked to cross timing mats on each loop for accurate split and finish times.
Event formats include an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K option with a multi-day window for logging results. A free Kiddie Dash is offered as a separate short event for children. Participants can choose to have their race bib mailed for an additional fee if registered at least ten days in advance.
Amenities noted for the event include an informal bag check area, restrooms a few minutes’ walk from the start and finish, on-course hydration provided at the finish, and refreshments supplied by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Age-group online recognition is provided for top finishers overall and in multiple age ranges.
The event accepts donations; 100% of donations benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports youth and special needs events and the development of athletes at local, national and international levels.
