North London Dirt RUN

North London Dirt RUN is an all-surface group run starting from Portal HQ in Leyton, East London. The event covers a loop of approximately 25 km (about 14.5 miles), described as a half marathon plus, and uses a mix of canal paths, woodland dirt tracks and suburban side streets.

The event is non-competitive. There will be run leaders at different paces and the option for participants to follow a GPS route independently. An energy stop with OTE is provided roughly halfway, where participants can refill flasks and take gels or bars. Mount to Coast will offer shoe demos on a first-come, first-served basis, and attendees receive an event goodie-bag from Mount to Coast and MiiR.

Portal hosts the event, with support from partner organisations including Benchmark, Mount to Coast, OTE and Camino Ultra. Kickback coffee prepared by MiiR will be available at the start. Bike parking is available near the venue, and Benchmark will run pre-event training runs in the lead-up.

The event is in person, listed for ages 16 and over, and ticket purchases are non-refundable. All proceeds from the event are designated to support the Hackney Foodbank. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
