North Devon Marathon, Half Marathon & 10k
The North Devon Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K takes place on Sunday 27 June 2027 in Woolacombe, North Devon. The event is organised by North Devon Hospice and is based at The Meadow Playing Fields (Woolacombe Football Club), South Street, Woolacombe EX34 7BB.

The course runs along public footpaths, private land and rugged coastal terrain. There are 12 designated water stations on route. The event operates a staggered start by distance and uses timing chips in race bibs; awards are given by fastest time per category rather than first across the line.
The event village at the Meadow provides registration and toilets, a water refill bar, a merchandise stand with official tech tees, a massage tent staffed by sports massage students, catering stalls and a bar. Participating runners receive a finisher’s medal and a complimentary cream tea. Dogs are not allowed on the race course; well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the event village.
Practical notes from the organiser: eligibility is for over 18s, there is no parking at the playing fields so nearby public car parks should be used, distance changes can be made at registration on the day, and places are non-transferable and non-refundable. Runners are asked to pledge to raise or donate £30 to support hospice care. Marshalls and trained first aid staff are present along the route.
