Norfolk Festival Of Running
The event takes place at Bawsey Country Park, PE32 1EP, located on the B1145 between the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Gayton. It is organised as a lap-based trail event on surfaces of sand, gravel and grass.
Participants can choose from these distances:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Full Marathon
- Ultra Marathon
A heavy half marathon is set as 5 laps by default with the option to increase to 6 or 7 laps on the day. The ultra marathon is set as 9 laps by default with the option to extend up to 12 laps depending on time available. Some start groups have a four-hour cut off while others have a six-hour event cut off.
Race HQ and the lap point are located at the start. An aid station is available at the lap point each circuit. The event operates a cupless policy so bottles or cups are required for refilling. There is no baggage service; the car park is passed on each lap and parking is included in the event cost with a parking code to collect before departure.
Registration and bib collection take place at the start area visible from the car park. Virtual entries for medal-only participation are available via the organiser's website. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
