NK50k

The NK50k is a point-to-point trail run on the Northern Kettle Moraine Ice Age Trail in Greenbush, WI. The event offers two distances and takes place in the Greenbush area, with the finish at the Greenbush Group Camp and the 50K start at the Ridge Road Trailhead.

The route includes varied terrain from smooth, rolling ski trails to rocky and rooty sections of the Ice Age Trail and reaches the highest point in the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest. Aid stations are placed along the course, with specific aid and drop-bag access noted at Mile 3.5 and Mile 25 for 50K participants. Water is available at additional points, including near backcountry shelters. Aid station supplies include water, sports drink, Coke, Mt. Dew and assorted typical ultra aid station foods.

Transportation is provided from the Greenbush Group Camp to the 50K start location. After the run, food and refreshments are available at the Group Camp Shelter.
