New Forest Hinton Admiral Trail Run

The event takes place at the private Hinton Admiral Estate and uses trails inside the New Forest National Park. Routes run along forest paths, open heathland and meadows, passing woodland tracks and wide views of the New Forest landscape.

Three distances are offered, each with chip timing and marked routes. Elevation gain varies by course, from around 41 m to 93 m. The route is signed using pink arrows and pink tape, and hazards and road junctions are marked with caution signs.

Entries include a finishers medal, a personalised certificate, on-course refreshments and water stations, first aid cover and encouraging marshals. The event operates a plastic free policy at water stations, so participants should bring a reusable cup or bottle. Bib numbers are collected at registration and must be displayed on the front of the runner.

Canicross entries are available; the event specifies one dog per runner and recommends bringing poo bags, water, treats and an appropriate lead. Other practical advice for participants includes carrying a mobile phone, bringing food and drink suitable for the race and a rain jacket.
