Nene Valley Trail Run
The event is a pair of trail races on Saturday 12 June 2027 that start and finish at KC Active, Kingsmead, Station Road, Kings Cliffe PE8 6YH. There are two distance options:
- 10 mile trail route
- 10K trail route
Both courses follow easy tracks and paths through rolling Northamptonshire countryside, including green fields, bluebell woodlands, disused railway tracks and quiet villages. The routes are fully marked and marshalled, with well stocked aid stations.
The organisers ask participants to bring their own cup or water bottle for aid stations as part of an effort to reduce waste. A donation option at booking offers either a T shirt or a Trees not Tees contribution. One pound from every entry will be donated to Kings Cliffe Active, a local charity that encourages health and fitness in the area.
Entries opened 2 August 2026 and close 10 June 2027. Entry fees listed for 2027 are £33 for the 10 mile and £22 for the 10K. There are no refunds if a runner cannot race; transfers of places to another person are permitted via the event entry system. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
