Nene Valley Trail Run - 10 mile and 10K
The Nene Valley Trail Run takes place on 12 June 2027, starting and finishing at KC Active, Kingsmead, Station Road, Kings Cliffe PE8 6YH. The event offers two organised trail distances on new 2027 routes and venue.
The available distances are:
- 10 mile
- 10K
Both courses run on easy tracks and paths through the Northamptonshire countryside, including green fields, ancient bluebell woodlands, disused railway tracks and quiet old villages. Both distances are fully marked and marshalled and include well stocked aid stations.
Runners are asked to bring their own cup or water bottle for aid stations as part of the event's eco friendly measures. Organisers offer a choice between a T shirt or a Trees not Tees donation as an extra at booking. One pound from every entry is donated to Kings Cliffe Active, a local charity that supports health and fitness in the area. Organisers also use a Facebook group to help arrange car sharing.
Entries open 2 August 2026 and close 10 June 2027. Entry fees listed are £33.00 for the 10 mile and £22.00 for the 10K. There are no refunds for non participation; transfers to another person are possible via SiEntries. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
