Naperville Trails Half Marathon & 10K

This event offers two distances that run through the Danada Forest Preserve in Naperville, Illinois on crushed limestone trails and finishes on grass near the horse race track.

  • Half Marathon
  • 10K

Both the half marathon and the 10K are USATF certified and the event is chip timed with timing chips integrated into bib numbers. Pacers are provided for the half marathon with pace groups ranging from 1:30 to 2:45. Course time limits are published for each distance.

Logistics include limited on-site parking and off-site parking with shuttle bus service from two nearby locations in Lisle. Participant packet options include mailing for a fee, pre-race pickup at a local running store, or pickup on race morning; on-site packet pickup may involve a short wait. A gear check is available on site and participants must use a clear bag provided by the event. Water stations supply both water and a sports drink.

Awards include a finisher medal for every participant in both distances and winner medals for the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age categories run from 10 and under through 70 plus. The event supports fundraising for Special Olympics Illinois. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
