Orland Park Turkey Trot
The Orland Park Turkey Trot is held on Thanksgiving morning in Orland Park, Illinois, at the Franklin Loebe Center, 14650 S. Ravinia Avenue. The event features a chip timed cross country race over a 2.5 mile course that uses paved roads, paths, and wooded areas near Village Hall.
All participants receive a long-sleeve dri-fit race shirt and are entered into a post-race raffle. Prize turkeys are awarded to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in each of 14 age groups for both males and females, with age divisions ranging from U9 to 70+.
Registration information included with the event notes that registration opens on May 30, 2026 and closes November 1, 2026. The entry fee is $25 and is non-refundable. No day-of-race registration is accepted. Participants who did not pick up race packets in advance may use the in-person check-in option.
