Myrtle Beach 24 Hour

The Myrtle Beach 24 Hour is a 24-hour endurance run held January 23-24, 2027 in The Market Common area of Myrtle Beach, SC. The start/finish is located near 1119 Farrow Parkway. The course is a paved loop of 1.0806 mile, certified by USATF (certification number SC25016JK); record eligibility depends on sanctioning status.

The loop follows the multipurpose path near Valor Memorial Garden and the lake, with directional signs and portapotties placed on course. An aid station at the start/finish offers typical ultra food, water, electrolyte drinks and hot food; organizers may try to accommodate specific food preferences on request. Chip timing will be used and a live leaderboard will display real-time results; bibs carry chips and should be worn on the front of the body.

Awards and prizes include a buckle for anyone who completes 100 miles or more, medals for those finishing shorter distances, and prize money for the top three men and top three women. A notable 156.6-mile performance was recorded at the event in 2026.

A designated tent city allows 10x10 canopies only; camping tents and propane heaters are not permitted. Power outlets are available on a first come, first served basis. Packet pickup is available the day before the race at Crabtree Memorial Gym and on race morning at the start/finish. The loop remains open to the public on race day, so runners may encounter nonparticipants on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
