Muddy Good Run
Muddy Good Run takes place at the Canterbury A & P Showgrounds, Curletts Road, Hillmorton, Christchurch, New Zealand on 21 March 2027. The course includes built obstacles such as mud pits, slippery slides, mud and water slides, cars to climb over and crawl under, containers to scale, hay bales, camo net crawls and cargo net climbs, with running and crawling between obstacles. All finishers receive a finishers medal.
Event formats and distances:
- 5 km Adults individual and team races
- 1.5 km Children's fun run with mud pits and slides
- 500 m Junior KIDZ Mud Run for 4 to 6 year olds with a parent or guardian
The children's 1.5 km run is organised by age groups, starting with older children and working down to younger age groups. Entries are limited to 200 participants in each children's age group. The Junior KIDZ event is limited to 200 children and requires a parent or guardian to run with the child. There is a separate children's prize giving after the KIDZ and family events. Adults may take part in the family event and later enter the individual or team adult races, but registration is separate for each entry.
