Mountain Tiger Diablo

Mountain Tiger Diablo is a 12.4 mile loop race that goes from the Mitchell Canyon visitor area to the Mount Diablo summit and back. The course follows a direct route with a short spur on Summit Trail and includes about 4,000 feet of climbing and 4,000 feet of descending.

Participants start at Mitchell Canyon and climb roughly 1,700 feet in the first 2.5 miles via Eagle Peak, then continue up Bald Ridge Trail to reach the summit of Mount Diablo. The return route descends about 4,000 feet over approximately 6 miles via Prospector's Gap and Back Creek Trail, finishing near the Mitchell Canyon area. The event has a five hour cutoff for the course.

Entry is listed at $95 plus fees. The entry package includes group shuttle transportation between an off site parking area and the start and finish area, an entry to the post race raffle, and a unique finisher item. The organizer states no refunds and offers 2027 rollovers until September 1. Registration closes on Wednesday, October 7 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
