Mountain Tiger Diablo
The Mountain Tiger Diablo is a 12.4 mile loop race located in Clayton, California. The route begins and ends at the Mitchell Canyon visitor area and follows a direct path to the summit of Mount Diablo. Participants encounter a total of 4,000 feet of climbing and an equivalent 4,000 feet of descent over the course of the event.
The course layout begins with a significant ascent, where runners climb 1,700 feet within the first 2.5 miles by heading up Eagle Peak. The path continues upward along the Bald Ridge Trail to reach the summit of Mount Diablo. Following the summit, the route transitions into a steep descent through Prospector's Gap and the Back Creek Trail, leading back down to the finish line area.

The event features a cutoff time of 5 hours for completion. To manage limited space at the venue, registration includes a group shuttle service. This five-minute bus ride transports participants from an off-site parking area to the start line and provides return transportation after the race.
Participants receive an entry into a post-race raffle and a unique finisher's item upon completion. Registration pricing follows a tiered structure that increases as the event date approaches.
