Mount Nebo Trail Run
The event is a low-key trail run of approximately 14 miles that starts from the top of Mount Nebo in the parking area near the pool and camping area. Mount Nebo is located about three miles west of Dardanelle on Highway 155.
This run is presented as a fun run with no entry fee; a donation receptacle may be available for those who wish to contribute to organizers or aid stations. Participants are asked to keep their own time and to sign in at the finish. The event is part of the AURA Ultra Trail Series.
Parking will be in the grassy area near the stop sign. Parking is not allowed in the campground, pool, and pavilion parking lot, and staff or volunteers will direct vehicles where to park. The pavilion by the pool is reserved for the run. At the finish, organizers will provide some chicken sandwiches and watermelon on a first come, first served basis; participants may prefer to bring additional drinks. Showers are available near the top and the pool can be used for an additional cash fee.
