Half-Moon Outfitters Moonshiner 5K Night Trail Race
The Moonshiner 5K Night Race is a night trail running event hosted by Half-Moon Outfitters at Paris Mountain State Park near Greenville, South Carolina on September 25, 2026. The course covers park trails and the advertised race distance is 5K.
The event’s stated mission is to provide a fun, safe and competitive experience for runners while raising funds for trail construction and maintenance at Paris Mountain State Park. All proceeds from the race will be donated to the park.
Online registration opens August 1 and continues through September 25 or until the race sells out. The registration fee is $40. Race-day registration is available at the park until shortly before the start or until sold out. Shirt sizes offered are unisex S, M, L, XL and XXL.
Event policies note that all runners must wear a personal light source for the night course. Headlamps are available for purchase at Half-Moon Outfitters. Parking at Paris Mountain State Park is limited; participants are advised to arrange shared transportation where possible. Because this event is a benefit for the state park, registrations are nonrefundable.
